Course was badly damaged by a hurricane 3 years ago and from what I had heard, was not up to par yet. Played the course myself and found it to be in very good shape. Nice grass in the fairways with only a couple of bald spots. Greens were in excellent shape and were challenging. Overall, the course is fun and challenging and seems to be getting better.
