This place has obviously gone down hill. I just played 9 holes Sunday with my wife. The conditions were fair at best. The course is fair at best. The views are nice but so arent the views from the seven other courses in the White Mountain area. The fees for 9 holes for 2 people was 68.00!!!! Outrageous! They have a stupid rule that no walking before 4pm. The course is very short and the tees and holes are very close... no need for the mandatory cart rule. Plus they RAN OUT OF CARTS! There were 2 groups in front and 3 groups behind us waiting for carts. We all stood there, as the first hole was open for 30 min. The managers only reply was "Hey what do you want me to do about it? Its Sunday and people play slow..." This while he sat behind the desk with no starter or ranger on the course. A few years ago this was an ok course to play. Now that the Owls Nest has opened down the street... (A great course) The management is trying to re-coup losses by over booking and milking clientele. Im giving 1 star for everything to bring down the five star rating. The conditions and pace should have 3 stars but the rest are correct at 1.
