Bring plenty of balls because that's what it takes to score at Shattuck. Set in the rocky and hilly
terrain of the Mt. Monadnock State Park, Shattuck offers a superb challenge even to low handicappers.
Straight driving and good course management lead to success on these links. The course is dotted with ledge outcroppings, granite drop offs and wetlands. My favorite holesare 12, 13 and 14 which are nestled around a scenic marsh and pond. Two of the holes are par threes with water carries and a short but testy par four is sandwiched in between them. Everywhere you look at Shattuck there is trouble looming... but it's all worth the trip... just remember to bring your balls... lots of them.
